Edging is not pay to play

To print your Edgemaster Nano, you’ll need a 3D printer, your filament of choice, and approximately 50 cm of paracord. You can use a shorter or longer length depending on your preferred setup. I’ve included an image showing the print orientation and the settings I use as a reference. The model already includes sacrificial supports with a small separation gap, so you can print it with supports turned off. I recommend using plenty of walls/perimeters to maximise strength and printing it in the orientation shown.

Once the print has cooled, remove it from the build plate and break out the built-in supports inside the triangular sections. Thread the paracord through the two smaller upper holes and tie an overhand knot near each end, leaving a short tail. Pull each knot firmly into the larger internal cavity until it pops into place. The knot should sit completely inside the hangboard; if any part of it remains exposed, it has not been pulled through far enough. Refer to the assembly photos on this page for the correct finished position.

Important: The strength of any 3D-printed part depends heavily on your printer, filament, layer adhesion, wall count, print temperature, settings and overall print quality. Because I have no control over these factors, I cannot guarantee the strength or load capacity of your finished print. Inspect the part carefully before each use and use it at your own risk. If you notice cracking, deformation, poor layer bonding or other defects, do not load the part.
